Filed under: Podcast — themacattack @ 9:56 am

Yes, we’re back! But now it’s Mac Roundtable Take two!

This is the first episode of a newly re-launched Mac Roundtable with your old favourites but with some new but familiar friends. Following on from this years Macworld, the Mac Roundtable has been expanded to include a whole host of new participants to make the Mac Roundtable more varied and yet more regular.

Kicking off the re-launch, Steve Stanger [The Mac Attack]introduces some of the new members of the panel. For this week they include:

Don McAllister: ScreenCasts Online
Allison Sheridan: Nosillacast Podcast
Victor Cajiao: Typical Mac User Podcast
David Sparks: MacSparky.com

But this isn’t the full crew, you’ll find out who else is on board in the next show!

In this episode we look at the reasons for the re-launch of the Mac Roundtable, the MacBook Air, the new iPhone and iPod Touch configurations, Uninterruptible Power Supplies, the iPhone SDK and and much, much more!

  6. Great show guys but can I please say, Apple TV is not High Def, it is not 720P. High Definition is defined as 720P and above isn’t it? Call it DVD + or something else. We must be careful not to “dumb down” High definition quality broadcasting.

Great show as I said keep them coming.

  7. Very easy to listen to! I was wondering where I was going to get another hour. but its not so technical I can’t do something else at the same time.

  9. Love the podcast. Move beyond format discussions faster and talk and challenge each other amongst yourself more…because we love it when you get “right into it.” Speak up Dave…

  10. Wow! what a refreshing new format. You guys were terrific. It was a MacBreak Weekly with out the BS and the Big egos. I loved it.

Allison, only an engineer could figure out that the MagSafe plug could only pull if it rotated on its vertical axis. I love the engineer speak.

And the take outs, you shouldn’t do those; there’re dangerous. Don’t you guys know most of your audience listens to the show while driving. I was laughing uncontrollably, not a safe thing to do.

They say you have arrived when you can make fun of yourself and enjoy it. You guys have definitely arrived. Keep up the great work. I’m looking forward to the next show.

Oh, by the way, I just canceled my subscription to MacBreak Weekly. Mac Roundtable Podcast replaced it.

  11. I agree with Allison; AppleTV/iTunesStore/Mac/iPhone-Touch combination in terms of buying, authorizing, playing, storing and moving seem to be very complicated. Its as if one is terrified to commit an error and mess the whole system up. Consequently spend hours to get things going again. VERY UNLIKE THE APPLE WE ARE USED TO !
