  1. I originally bought a 1.86ghz MacBook pro when they were released last year, order after the keynote…I then sold it to buy a 1.86ghz macbook because the gfx was not too important to me…I’ve now sold that to go to a 2.0 MacBook with a core2Duo…Also I’m buying a 20″ iMac in the next 6 months…

  2. Thanks for mentioning OmniWeb (and our other products)! If you haven’t looked at OmniWeb recently, give version 5.5 a spin: it’s much faster than 5.1 was. (In some tests, it’s now faster than any other Mac browser.)

Also, for those who don’t know, OmniWeb is on sale for $9.95 through the end of November.

  3. I love my MacBook 2.0Ghz Core Duo. It does all I want and more very fast. Especially since My last computer was an iBook G3 700mhz. I wait until the computer can’t run the software I want. I also would like to give credit to Omni Group about their web browser. It is very clean and slick and I personally love it. Again, thank you for the great show. Each of you guys have your own great podcast that I listen too, but it is so much better when you all get together and you give your opinions at once. It just shows points of views in a side by side comparison. Thank You

  4. great show-awesome! I think Adam is right-Apple doesnt want to go too far away from their core competencies. The boom box was a flop wasnt it? It was in my mind-i just dont want to see Apple lose focus on the most important part of its company-the Mac OS. iTunes 7 still needs tweaking and the overall product that Apple is pushing seems to be slipping a little bit. Hopefully they will get on the ball.

  6. I listened to your podcast this afternoon and your panel seemed to not understand why all the laptops are now core 2 duo chips (the mini will be upgraded very soon). The reason for this is Apple is going to roll out 10.5 sooner then I have heard anyone talking about. It may be out before the end of the year if not it will be out at Mac world. These chips are needed to take full advantage of all the secret features Steve spoke about.

    LOOK OUT VISTA
