I have a couple of corrections and some additional commentary.
The G5 (aka IBM PowerPC 970) is in fact a 64-bit chip. The Apple TV is really an Intel Mac running a slightly modified 10.4.7, so it’s not using Core Animation for the intro video, just Quartz Composer.

I needed to do a better job explaining the demo of core animation at the keynote. The demo Steve J showed looked pretty much like the Apple TV intro. That’s how I should of said it. I know that the Apple TV isn’t using CA.
