I don’t know what’s wrong with Libsyn, the feed gave me the right file, the right file is MRT011.mp3 as it says to the link. I have no idea why Libsyn is playing the wrong file?

Just thought you guys should know that the podcast download on iTunes is messed up and had me download something called Bath Talk which is not what I was expecting at all when I downloaded this podcast. I know this is not your fault but I wanted to make sure you guys knew that the feed or something is messed up, thanks.

Hey I think you all got hacked I am getting some funky stuff here. One mac I got your pod cast. Another I got a pod book of some kind and another a 50รข??s Music. And final on one more Chinese. I think you need to check it out something in sure messed up.

I just clicked on listen now and got a HD TV Podcast. I think they just got hacked by someone. Or the place the sends out the feeds got hacked.

Hey! here it’s a mess too!
In the ITunes Feed I’ve got some weird show and when I clicked on Listen now on the website, there is another podcast and it’s not the Mac RoundTable for sure :^)

Is the feed really back? I just downloaded the episode via iTunes feed and got a spanish podcast.

Yes, I’m afraid we’re in a Libsyn nightmare here. I just tried the link off the article here and I received the correct podcast, I downloaded it in iTunes, and I received the correct podcast, so maybe it’s working now… please have patience, Libsyn will get it fixed soon if it’s not already fixed.

The problem should be resolved, here is the libsyn announcement…
This morning, betweeen the hours of approximately 12:45am eastern to 1:45, Libsyn servers experienced a crucial distribution error on its CDN that resulted in the erroneous distribution of files on some user accounts. The problem has been identified and resolved, however during the time of the error period, affected user accounts may have had the wrong files distributed to subscriptions and direct downloads that called for files.
We are extremely sorry for the confusion and surprise that this may cause the subset of audiences that have been affected by this unusual error. While this was a temporary and limited issue, it may have real unintended consequences to some individuals; we fully understand the magnitude of delivering the wrong file, even one mis-matched file is one too many.

well, i downloaded via iTunes at around 8:30 a.m. EDT and got the Chinese Pod podcast so the weirdness must be cached somewhere.

just forced a re-download in iTunes and got the correct file. in the meantime i did learn how to say “how much is that chocolate” in Chinese.
