Episode 24 of the Mac Roundtable

Guess who couldn’t make it? We all have varied schedules and it seems to be becoming more of an issue. In an effort to give you more consistency in the Podcast schedule we announce a new show format that we think your going to like. We discuss Apple’s announcement of Leopards delay, do we believe their excuse or is there something more to it? What’s the real reason for the delay? Announcement from NAB, FinalCut Studio2. The new 8 core Mac Pro, is it too much power? Adobe CS 3, is it living up to the hype or has Adobe jumped the shark? Tim makes a case for his belief that Apple will release an all flash based Mac laptop. We finish up with our cool Mac stuff picks. I think your gonna like this one.

Episode 23 of the Mac Roundtable

Joseph goes MIA (again!) and Steve decides to join him. Luckily we have Ray Slakinski to come in and save the show. Ray is one of the original iPodderX team and is now involved with PopCurrent and Podiobooks.com. Of course we discuss what’s happening with PopCurrent and Podiobooks. Adam brings up a new phishing scam that seems to be targeting Apple fans and we talk some about email security on the Mac. We wonder if Google beginning to dominate our lives and our desktops? Google and Apple are more friendly these days and Google is delivering a bunch of great products with good Mac support, like Google SketchUp!. We ponder when Apple will finally update iLife and when they do what features, enhancements, and big fixes will they deliver? Of course we finish it all up with some cool Mac stuff picks. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy MRT number 23.

Welcome back to Episode 22 of the Mac Roundtable

We finally got around to recording a new episode and Joseph has added a new Jr. Podcaster to his staff. In this episode we ask Apple, “Where’s our stuff”? Why has there been such a lull in the release of new Apple products? Has Leopard development and the iPhone consumed all of Apple’s resources? Steve Jobs has entered the world of espionage and is using his bag-o-tricks to catch rumor site tipsters. Why are we so obsessed with Mac rumors and why are they always so inaccurate? Does Apple really control the spin? Google and Apple are building a beautiful relationship together and Mac fans are likely to benefit. With a new approved spec coming into play are downloadable and burnable movies and TV shows in iTunes’ future? Plus, our neat Mac stuff.
