Welcome to Episode 11 of the Mac Roundtable

This week we discuss the iTunes experience and what it’s done to your CD collection. Are we spending less on CD’s and more on iTunes, or are we just grabbing our music from other online sources? Then we look at the iPod and where it’s going from here and when it will finally get there. Next topic is, what print magazines we’re still receiving and why? Has the online Mac news and magazines killed off the print? Finally, the next part of our podcasting confessions. This episode we talk about our podcasting hardware and how it’s progressed since we first started podcasting.

Steve Stanger from the The Mac Attack was missing in action when a storm knocked him offline. But join hosts Joseph Nilo from the MacPro Podcast, Tim Verpoorten from MacReviewcast, Adam Christianson from the MacCast

Filed under: Podcast — macroundtable @ 1:09 pm

Welcome to episode 8 of the Mac Roundtable.

Well after a long time we finally are all able to get together again and chat. This week month we discuss:

Our impressions of the new MacBook from Apple. We get into all the details, the praise and the complaints behind Apple newest consumer notebook. Steve goes MIA; he says something about a failed cable modem, but interestingly it happened just as the American Idol final was starting. Coincidence? A man down we trudge on and discuss the upcoming release of the next generation of OS X, 10.5 Leopard. We will a sneak peek at the Apple WWDC, so we talk about some of the rumored new features and decide if it will be worth the upgrade. Finally we wrap it all up with a look at iLife ’06. What applications are we finding useful in our day to day lives. Which iLife programs are useful to us and what are some tricks we have discovered along the way. Hope you like it.
